🌍 EDSAW dissemination events: sharing results across Europe

The EDSAW project – Enhancing Digital and Soft Skills for Aging Workforce – is entering an important dissemination phase, bringing together partners, stakeholders, educators, policymakers and professionals to discuss how digital and soft skills can support the active participation of people aged 50+ in work and society.

Three dissemination events will take place in Spain, Slovakia and Turkey, each contributing to the shared goal of strengthening lifelong learning, digital inclusion and skills development for the ageing workforce.

📍 Spain – Cornellà de Llobregat

On 3 September 2026, the final project event Competències per al futur will take place at Castell de Cornellà. The event will focus on digital and personal skills for the 50+ population, creating space to share resources, experiences and proposals that support lifelong learning, digital inclusion and the development of competences needed to remain active in the labour market.

📍 Slovakia – Bratislava

On 8 September 2026, the National Economy Faculty of the University of Economics in Bratislava will host a hybrid dissemination workshop. The programme will introduce the EDSAW project results, key findings on the skills needs of people aged 50+, the methodology for developing lifelong learning centres, and the Everlearning e-learning platform. The workshop will also include a stakeholder discussion on practical needs, barriers and opportunities for cooperation.

📍 Turkey – Kütahya

On 18 September 2026, the dissemination event Building Skills for a Stronger Tomorrow will take place at Kütahya İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü. The programme will focus on practical digital training tips for people aged 50+, soft skills development, applied presentations of EDSAW project results and interactive workshops.

Together, these events highlight the importance of equipping the 50+ generation with the skills needed for a changing labour market and an increasingly digital society. They also provide an opportunity to connect research, education and practice — ensuring that the project results can be used meaningfully by professionals, institutions and communities across Europe.

EDSAW at events

On September 12, Ondřej Pavelek from Mendel University in Brno presented the results of the EDSAW project at an event organized by the non-profit Christian and Work in Czechia.

During his presentation, Ondřej not only shared the project’s latest results but also introduced the training courses developed within EDSAW, designed to enhance the digital and soft skills of the ageing workforce.
